Four Goal Game
The four goal game provides the young soccer player with multiple opportunities to develop their soccer skills in multiple ways. It works both ways whether the player is in an attacking or defending position. Some of the benefits are:
Increases creativity by offering different directions to dribble the ball as well as change of directions instead of the traditional same direction with one goal on each end.
To go along with above it increases decision making opportunities as the player will have to consciously make these decisions when they can not advance any further or when a defending player sees an attacking player going to a different goal.
It will assist in teaching the player to keep their head up (vision) by seeing where they can take the ball next or see where it is going to stop the ball.
It also introduces focus for the young player.
Last but not least, it provides more opportunities to be in a goal scoring position.
