06U Boys/Girls

At this level of play we continue to work on the basics of soccer. This is led through once a week practices by the coaches. There will be a couple of practices before the season starts and then they will continue as the season progresses.

Standard of play for this age group:

Size 3 ball
4v4 (no goalkeepers)
Shin guards are required
Substitions are unlimited and can be done at any time in the game
4 Quarters - 8 minutes in length

At this age group we begin to do throw-ins, goal kicks and corner kicks. Coached are allowed to be on the field to help at this age.

We do have referees at this level to handle time keeping, handball infractions and restart of play after goals and quarters. This provides a great way for our young referees to get some experience.
